you have to, have to, HAVE TO read THE KITE RUNNER, it is absolutely amazing.
The English Patient won the NOBEL PRIZE, so it can't be that bad. So did Life of Pi, but the english patient sounds more interesting. It takes place in India, I think (The English Patient)
The Good Earth was Mrs.Dhawan's (Mary's chem teacher) fav.book...good thing u didn't mark emma...and did u really read LOTR I, II, and III? It took me 1 and a half years to read them all fully!
Oh and a hundred years of solitude is supposed to be really difficult, but supposed to be one of the greatest books of all time, or something.

I have read all of the classics u mentioned here...love Jane Austin, Bronte sisters, Dickens, Alcott and ofcourse Tolstoy. Great authors they are.

thanks for the nice compliments that i totally do not deserve, sadly- there is ALWAYS someone who reads more than you! If u've seen gilmore girls, that nephew of Luke's says- "How much is a lot?", with reference to books in general.

yeah- i remember the priyu!!! strangely enough, my friends here also picked up on "priyu" without me ever telling them anyone had called me that. But they have now settled on Pri. I do not know which one sounds more funny!

yes, gilmore girls WAS fun, wasn't it? and rory...that girl has read more books than anyone I know except perhaps our english teachers...tho i don't think a girl as perfect as rory could exist in real life. u see grey's anatomy?
