Yes another year come and gone...Last year,many significant events had taken place for me.Thats why,in a way,2005 will always be etched in my mind.
It had been a mixture of excitement and scary!

+ My 10th boards
I was in an ICSE school.So you can imagine...God! 10th was a blast! I had so much fun! It kinna gave us license to break rules this year because we were passing out.Our farewell party was the best.Our school was semi-co-ed.Lol.The boy section and the girl section was different.So (sigh) the farewell parties were different as well.But...we're not as innocent as everyone thinks we are.We cleverly organised a party after the one at our school.It was at a friend's house.She's got a dancefloor and everything.She even called a dj.So,approximately at 8:00 pm after our farewell party at school got over,we crashed at our friend's place later.The guys were already there.So it was an awesome post farewell bash.Just us-Mary-ites(my school-St Mary's).Thats the name other schools gave us-Mar-ites because according to them we had loads of attitude or whatever lol.
Then of course...the scariest part was writing the board papers itself!My parents never really believed in tutions,so i did not go for any!But i did pretty well in my board exam without any help...ALL ON MY OWN! So i'm really proud of myself for that :)

+ College life
I had a lot of older friends who were in college and yeah when you're in school you keep wishing when you will give your blessed board exam and get the hell out of there!College was going to be a whole new experience.New environment,extra freedom,new people.You're all on your own.Luckily,many of my good friends were going to the same college i was.In the beginning we had our own groups.The guys and girls of St Mary's used to hang out together and not really talk to anyone.The people from other schools thought we're showing attitude so they weren't really keen on becoming friends.When i became friends with a this one guy from another school,his friends ask him ''Dude,were you just talking to that girl from Mary's''? He he I don't know.Its like they separated us from being homosapiens or something!Slowly everyone started mixing around.Its really surprising how your opinion on people can change :) I mean it isnt' our fault if they were scared of us or whatever.They used to keep us high on a pedestal like THEY ARE MARY-ITES!
Its been an awesome year all in all.Experienced a lot.Oh yeah!I stared blogging this year too and met a lot of wonderful people in the process.Don't know what 2006 has in store for me,hope its a mixture of scary and excitement! ;-)
