Mariah And Green Day Were Supposed To Fail, Weren't They?

If i were to tell u that Green Day would release of the best rock albums of the decade and Mariah Carey would bounce back from her album ''Glitter'' and regain her groove,u wud hav thot i was high...

But they have done just that!Over the past year,they underwent some serious changes and battled against all odds gettin themselves amazin tracks that have redefined their respective careers in a tremendous way.

Mariah:From where do i start?The problem began from ''Glitter'' to hospitalisation,to weird web postings,to an embarrasing divorce from her former label that paid her tens of millions just to go away.It seemed as though the wings of a butterfly had been clipped off.What Mariah had to do was to be very prolific especially at the time she was gettin negative publicity.She needed to go away for a while and then come out with an album that was appealing,and yep...she accomplished both da missions!i love the song ''Its like that'' from her recent album-The Emancipation of Mimi.But it was not as cool as ''We belong together'' which was the summer jam!!! Go Mariah Go!!!

Green day:They have been slapped with a lotta labels and ''important'' certainly wasn't one of them :P.The veteran punkers emerged wid their first punk opera/concept album wid a two 9+minute epics n religious ovatunes...UH-OH!

in da year 2004,talk bout right song at da right time!!!When ''American Idiot'' came out,it was durin da presidential election mania and da song's piss-take on society spoke ta everyone in the ''alien nation''(frm da song) who refused to bow to da status quo...if u guyz get a chance,lissen to dis song!! u'll kno wat m talkin bout!

''American Idiot'' got the best rock album Grammy.
